Susan Fong was an energetic, loving grandmother who gave 110% to her friends & family. One day someone invaded the sanctity of her home and robbed her family of their most precious jewel. On Saturday, SAVE will stand in Susan's memory at 35th & Foothill Blvd at 11:00am. Our elders deserve to live in peace and security. Now is the time to step up and SAY SOMETHING!
Stand Up for Denzel & Kanem
Saturday, April 5th 2014, 11:00am - 12:00pm

Youth Centers should be places of peace and safety but in one afternoon we lost two loved ones in front of a Boys and Girls Club. Denzel Jones was a quiet student at Mack High where he was in his sophomore year. Instead of looking forward t...o his future, his family is looking for his murderer. Kamen Ayers was only 35 years old when his life was violently taken. On Saturday April 5, SAVE will stand in honor of Denzel and Kanem on the corner of Market and West Grand at 11:00am. Our children deserve safe places to live and play! Now is the time to SAY SOMETHING!
Stand up for Frederick Parker

Frederick Parker was hosting a birthday party for a friend when he stepped outside for just a minute. But in such a brief time, in an instant, a single shot snatched away his life and joy from his friends and family. On March 1, SAVE will stand in honor of Frederick and to let his family know they are not alone. Join us on 98th & MacArthur at 11:00am, rain or shine, and let your voice be heard. Now is the time to SAY SOMETHING!
Stand up for Brandon
Friday, February 21st 2014, 11:00am - 12:00pm
Posted By: Soldiers Against Violence Everywhere (S.A.V.E.)
As the eldest of five children, Brandon Clemons was looking forward to graduating from college with a degree in graphic design and going to the military so he could see the world. One day while walking home, a cowardly thief robbed him of his book bag, his school books and his life. This Saturday, Soldiers Against Violence Everywhere will stand in remembrance of Brandon on the corner of E. 21st & 14th Ave at 11:00am. No more families should suffer like this. Join us and SAY SOMETHING!
Find Your Voice

Lee. Lamar. Derryck. In the face of incomprehensible pain, no words seem to suffice. Two mothers are in mourning, one of whom lost both of her children within days of each other. Soundless cries rise to the heaven for the lost loved ones and the families left behind. But somehow we must find our voices to speak out for those who can no longer speak for themselves. For the families who are still racked with pain. NO MORE! We are sick and tired of our babies dying in the street. Stand with Soldiers Against Violence Everywhere on Saturday February 15, 11:00am on 98th & Bancroft in honor of our fallen brothers and to speak out against this senseless violence. Now is the time to SAY SOMETHING!

Soldiers Against Violence will continue to stand for every loved one lost to violence, every family and every mourning mother each weekend. Change comes when the people take action. Join us this Saturday, Jan 4, 2014, Empire Bl and 98th Blvd at 11:00 am to spread the message of guns down and peace up on every street in Oakland. SAY SOMETHING!
